Yousef Al-Helou, a senior journalist from Gaza, and Amena Saleem, Palestine Solidarity Campaign UK‘s student co-ordinator, with members of the Greenwich Palestinian Solidarity Society spoke at Greenwich on 19th November 2013.
This was part of a tour of universities organised by PSC aimed at raising awareness of the situation in Gaza and the West Bank, and increasing Palestinian activism on campuses.
On  11 November Yousef spoke at Nottingham about the current situation in Gaza, the struggle to access education under occupation and siege, and how the rise of citizen journalists in Gaza is helping to get the truth out to the world. He was joined by Palestine Solidarity Campaign’s student officer, Amena Saleem.
Yousef’s speaking tour of universities has been organised by PSC to help raise awareness about the desperate situation in Gaza, and increase action and solidarity on student campuses.
