Following a successful debut in London and tour to Vienna, Palestinian dance theatre troupe, Al Zaytouna Dance Theatre, is pleased to be taking its latest production to Southampton. Unto the Breach, a dance theatre adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry V set in modern-day Palestine, will play at Turner Sims in Southampton on Saturday 8th March. The show fuses Palestinian folk dance (‘dabke’) with contemporary dance, poetry and theatre, set to a soundtrack of traditional Palestinian music and original compositions by Dave Randall, composer and guitarist from Faithless and Slovo. Tickets are available from the Turner Sims box office on 023 8059 5151 or from www.turnersims.co.uk.
