Talk by … MIKO PELED
Miko Peled is an Israeli, living in the USA, who has written an autobiographical book called “The General’s Son : Journey of an Israeli in Palestine”. His father was an Officer in 1948 and a leading general in the 1967 war.
Since his niece died in a Palestine suicide bomb attack in Jerusalem in 1997, Miko has worked to build bridges between Israelis and Palestinians. He is well known as an Israeli dissident and is a prominent peace activist. His alternative ideas for the future of Israel and Palestine constitute a provocative, but profoundly positive and optimistic vision.
