Israel: The New Model Warrior State
2017 marks the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration in which the British Government promised to create a homeland for the Jewish people in Palestine. However, the new Israeli state was created at the expense of Palestinian human rights.
Israel is now a modern warrior state with a military-security-surveillance-cyber-industrial complex rivalling any in the world. Professor Colin Green analyses the repercussions of this power dynamic.
