Show Support and Solidarity with the Palestinian political prisoner’s hunger strike
On April 17th over 1,500 Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli jails, many without charge, began a hunger strike to protest their unlawful and cruel treatment. This includes the use of torture during interrogation, solitary confinement, numerous cases of gross medical negligence even for those with acute health issues, alongside the routine denial of family visits.
On May 6th as the strikers enter the 19th day of the strike a day of solidarity will be amerced by vigils and demonstrations across the UK. Join us at outside of Halifax Central Library as we stand up for the rights of the Prisoners in an act of solidarity.
