The Siege of Gaza – this is what it means:
It means that the Palestinian population are chronically short of food.
It means that there are insufficient drugs to treat preventable diseases.
It means that there is electricity for only about 2 hours a day: insufficient to power the sewage pumps, so Palestinian children have to wade through sewage to get to school.
