Led by the renowned UK-based Palestinian singer/musician Reem Kelani who returns to Sheffield to introduce us to the famous Palestinian and Arab anthem ‘Mawtini’ – which we then aim to sing at events with the Palestine Solidarity Campaign. Her workshop will also cover basic Arabic music theory as well as diction. You can be sure of an exciting and enlightening day with Reem!
Open to all singers and anyone interested in Palestine and the Palestinians.
Fee: £15, £10 or £5, and bring lunch to share. Supported by Arts Council England.
