Lawyers for Palestinian Human Rights Student Network are hosting a film screening of 5 Broken Cameras followed by a talk and Q&A on the impact of Israel’s occupation on life in the West Bank. Following the event there will be a drinks reception.

Nominated for an Oscar, 5 Broken Cameras is a first hand account of a life and non violent resistance in Bi’in, a West Bank village where Israel is building a security fence. The film follows a childs growth from newborn into a young boy, observing the world around him.

Speaker:
Sabrina Tucci worked as a human rights monitor in Hebron from December 2015-February 2016 where she witnessed the effect of the annexation wall and illegal settlement on the lives of Palestinians in the West Bank.
