Register for the Viva Palestina convoy to Gaza

The PSC encourages all its members to get involved in the campaign to break the siege on Gaza by joining the PSC on the next Viva Palestina convoy.

Registration is now live - if you are interested in coming to Gaza please register online, the deadline to submit your application is November 6th. There will also be a compulsory briefing sessios for all potential participants on November 7th in Birmingham - please contact Alice from Viva Palestina at alice@vivapalestina.org or 07944 512 469 for more information. The first batches of applications are being processed this week and if you have sent one in, you will receive a substantive reply at the beginning of next week.

Those interested in going to Gaza must organise a vehicle to travel in or at least fundraise towards buying a vehicle. The PSC and Viva Palestina can help put you in touch with someone in your locality if you would like to pool resources together to buy a vehicle. For more information about what you need to consider when buying a vehicle please get in touch.

The PSC has also put together a number of resources to help you with your fundraising efforts - including posters, flyers, sponsor forms, model letters to contact unions for donations and ideas to raise money. Email convoy@palestinecampaign.org for any of these.

There are also plenty of other ways to get involved if you are unable to join the convoy - from donating to raising awareness about the ongoing siege of Gaza to volunteering at the PSC office to help with the 'behind the scenes' work to make the convoy a success.

STUDENTS:

Come to the PSC National Student Conference where there will be discussion on making solidarity links with students in Gaza - including live video links with students there - and planning for the student contingent on the convoy.

CALLING ALL TEACHERS:

We encourage teachers to get students to make pen pals with children in Gaza – many of whom have been traumatized by Israel’s massacre 10 months ago and lost family and friends in the attacks - by sending a card with an email or postal address in. We will ensure these are distributed to children of a similar age in Gaza.
